Emergence uses an implementation of the estimation-maximization unsupervised learning algorithm to evolve the best set of user behavior groupings. This set of groupings, or clusters, are then used to perform real-time classification of online user/customers followed by ranked recommendation of the products or pages most relevant to the customer.

Emergence [ Advisor For .Net] is a real-time online recommender based on predictive models build by the Emergence Server. It is a 100% managed component that is easy to integrate into your .Net web sites.

Platypus [ Collaborative Network Library For .Net] is a memory-based, item-centric, collaborative filter. When integrated with your e-commerce solution, this library builds a network that represents the relationship among all products sold or viewed by your customers. As users interact with your e-commerce site the network evolves to represent a more accurate depiction of item-to-item correlations. These correlations are then used to recommend unseen or unpurchased items.
